Economic Slop and False Hope content

This video flags how you been sold a myth, and then proceeds to sell you an even bigger myth. Do you know why? Because the Nia (purpose) of the channel is to create content, not to transform the economy of Africa. The specific video or the specific person is irrelevant because there are 1000s of content creators now doing this slop. All use the same trick of praying to God your are economically illiterate, but desperate for hope, even if it comes at the price of solid truth.

I will not promote the slop, but is is everywhere.

As long as you keep Africans fiscally illiterate we will read failure as victory.i heard the Kenyan economy rose by 4% this year. 4000 people clicked like. How many of them know what that means for the average Kenyan? How many of them understand the Gini index? So between TRT, CNN, et all there is a trend in telling people they are rising but never who really profits. Generation after generation we are conditioned to see exploitation as development and dependency as hope. But reality collects on our ignorance.

ECONOMIC GRIFTERS

Why not? If you have race grifters why not economic grifters? We all accept religious grifters? I don’t want to insult people, because the channel above I am just using as an example of a very popular trend. There are serious channels for economics ( real-life lore ) and then there is these flyby one click set up guys saying they graduated from Oxford school of economics. I looked up the brother and he has no legacy, no economic papers published, no peer review, just a onepage, a economic service offer in consulting. Him and 10,000 others in the business of economic religious ideology of miracles. The mission is funnel business into his consultancy brand, yet another pen service that builds hope on paper.

EXPLOITATION

it is not only white Hollywood that is using our identity to promote their woke politics, it is not only white liberals at Universities employing Afrotrash as scholarship. It is TRT Africa, DW, Al Jazeera, and traditional media selling us 24/7 pipedreams. I have blocked TRT Africa’s slop over and over again, and still it in my feed.

IMPOSSIBLE

I will not waste time on the details, but this is what they do. Don’t buy plan A, buy plan B. But they tell you all the details on why plan A is bad, but are very obscure and optimistic on their plan B. So there is an imbalance. He , and I am just using him as a case study, tells us why Africa will never be China (as if you didn’t know that already) , uses stats that can be found everywhere on the internet and then sells you total BS to keep your hopes alive. How can an economy go from agriculture to digital without education? How is Africa going to match India and Pakistan in the IT sector? Why didn’t he use the same high quality stats to support his claims, that he used to debunk the Chinese Africa theory?

I want to remind you it makes no difference who I am speaking about because all of these channels use the same tactic, the same way all Hollywood shills exploit celebrity identify to sell white cargo. The human product Zendaya comes to mind. All these sectors have a pattern and I am just showing you the pattern.

The next thing is to use AI in the comments to encourage engagements to play the algorithm game.

You feel like he is having a conversation, no. Using stock footage and AI research is so easy anyone without any economic qualifications can jump in on this gig.
