We are harming ourselves with this revisionist nonsense

This nonsense habit of inserting ourselves and claiming other people’s history has the exact opposite effect. While everyone else is getting offended over silly Lupita for being inserted into a historically Greek role, we are looking at how far we are from our own historical narratives. Time spent being Moors and Greeks means less time in Songhai, Ethiopia, and Congo. And I will try my best to explain how we are being played by the enemies of Africa. The mission to erase African history is in its most sophisticated mode.

I think some of us think that by calling people racist for not thinking Lupita is beautiful changes the reality of the world. Even the African world would not agree she is that beautiful. Pushing it cannot gaslight people, only makes the insults come harder: “Helen of Detroit”, “The face that cancelled 1000 ticket sales.” Some that does not care about us have orchestrated all of this; “blacks” are the social experiment of White society.

And when the dust settles, it reads as “a people so culturally and historically bankrupt, they have to ‘steal’ the culture and history of others”. Even Black Panther was a Marvel movie; while far less of an issue, it is fitting into a similar pattern. Can the subaltern write their own stories? Ironically, we reinforce the racist statements about Africa.

A place of no history or high culture

You have woke black liberals on YouTube bending over backwards to prove Helen was or could have been a “Sub-Saharan” African. Even worse than Greek Cleopatra. Sunny from The View asserted that historians have not excluded the possibility that Helen of Troy could be “black”; now I am 100% sure Sunny does not know anything about African history. Someone handed her a note with one fringe academic’s name on it. You see, our value systems need white verification before we can add value to it. Our heroes must be white-approved before they are heroes; our scholarship needs Yale and Oxford PhD attached to their names before we consider their positions. A self-inflicted epistemic violence.

Our greatest destiny is to be white or accepted by white. But that will never happen, and we pay twice; it looks stupid and attracts more racism, and we are losing our actual historical references. The same energy used to dig up Homer, go dig up Tarikh al-Sudan and pluck icons out of that.

Do you know that in the last 10 years we have measured a TOTAL and UTTER decline in African common knowledge in terms of volume and resolution? Gone are the specific references to specific periods and histories and books, replaced by memes and “Egypt was black African”, and it stops there and cycles around and around and around. Now the final step: many do not even see an African connection. Right back to the mindset Malcolm X and Garvey reversed.

A good fellow intellectual told me yesterday: Ancient Egyptian was a Nilotic language. I almost fell off my chair and damaged my screen. Where the F did that come from? Which scholar, which linguist? And I will be harder on him than the next person because he grew up in an African literate scholastic circle like me. But today you can just make shit up. Here is the problem: at some point every lie has to run from truth for fear of being exposed. How does Ancient Egyptian become a Niholtic language? Oh, I see, because you dont want it attached to Afro-Asiatic. Now you have to tell three lies: find the fake linguist, prove it is Nilotic, and explain how Egypt has no connection to Asia. This is people who should know better at our age like this; what about the youth who never read anything? Without saying too much, these Zionists are behind a lot of it; then they come and call it out as a form of racism. Please explain to me why they would care? How is it racist? When they just said it is against discredited claims of claiming Ancient Egypt?
